Canada and the USA will collide in the pool stages in the next round of the HSBC Sevens Series. The North Americans have been drawn in Pool B of the Singapore tournament, a difficult group that also contains France and Hong Kong runners-up New Zealand.
Pool D contains Argentina with less intimidating opposition. Australia, Wales, and core status returnees Japan will stand in the way of the Cup finals. Hong Kong champions Fiji are in Pool A along England, Samoa, and Portugal. South Africa, Kenya, Scotland, and Russia comprise Pool C.
The Series returns to Singapore for the first time in a decade starting on April 16. Fiji were the last winners in 2006, though an Asian Sevens Series event was held there in 2013, won by Japan.
