Leguizamón replaces Lezana for Hurricanes

Veteran Pumas back-rower Juan Manuel Leguizamón has been named by Raúl Pérez as an injury replacement for Tomás Lezana for next weekend’s away Super Rugby match against the Hurricanes in Wellington.

Lezana missed Saturday’s loss against the Blues in Auckland, forcing  Pérez to adapt which he did by elevating Pablo Matera to the starting lineup. Without an additional specialist back-rower prop Felipe Arregui acted as emergency cover in the match.

The 22 year old Lezana suffered ham-string damage, returning to Argentina immediately. He had been set to play against the Blues and Hurricanes with Leguizamón planned to join the roster for the matcha against the Crusaders and Sunwolves.
