Paraguay Coaches Participate in Los Jaguares Training

The strong bonds between Argentina and its neighbors were apparent this past week when Paraguayan coaching staff were invited to participate in Los Jaguares training. Los Yakaré’ trainers Eduardo Acosta and Pedro Manuel Ruiz assisted members of Los Jaguares coaching staff.

Acosta and Ruiz shared experiences with leading Argentine coaching officials including Martín Gaitán, José Pellicena and Los Pumas’ Head Coach Daniel Hourcade. Also present was Marco Aurelio Nuñes, Head Coach of San José RC.

Paraguay is preparing for upcoming international duty with the South American A Championship just around the corner. Los Yakaré will compete against Brazil, Chile and Uruguay hosting Los Teros and os Tupis.

Preparations took on a new appearance on Monday with Acosta and Ruiz back from Los Jaguares’ training in Argentina to participate in a presentation. At Paraguay’s Olympic Committee headquarters the presentation was made showcasing the system of play to rugby players and Los Yakaré coaching staff.
