Wyles celebrates Saracens milestone

Chris Wyles may no longer be available to the US Eagles, but he continues to put in top performances with his long-time club Saracens in the Aviva Premiership. Saturday’s match marked the 200th time he has worn the club’s colours in a first class match. His 142 Premiership matches are beaten by only four other Saracens players, with Matt Cairns the next target on the list at 155.

Now in his 8th season with the club, Wyles celebrated the occasion with a well-finished try in the 72nd minute of a 36-18 win over Exeter Chiefs to help Saracens leapfrog the visitors to the top of the Premiership table. The 32-year-old has shown no signs of slowing down this season, starting 14 of 18 games, all on the wing. He is set to take on his former club Northampton Saints in the Champions Cup quarter-final on April 9.
