World Rugby confirms June internationals

World Rugby has confirmed the June fixtures for Tier 1 and 2 teams, with 25 games spread over the three-week international window. The Six Nations, SANZAAR, and Pacific Island teams are all present, along with the USA, Canada, Japan, Georgia, and Russia, the only team included in the series who did not qualify for the 2015 World Cup.

Canada will host Japan, Russia, and Italy on successive weekends, while Argentina welcome the Azzurri before the arrival of France for a two-game series. The Eagles notably have only two games confirmed, with Italy and Russia slated for June 18 and 25 respectively. Efforts to convince Scotland to play on June 11 have thus far proved unfruitful, and a third opponent is still being sought for the vacant weekend.

Wales, Ireland, and England each partake in three-game sets with Southern Hemisphere rivals, and the Scots have only a two-match tour to Japan on their schedule. Fiji, Samoa, and Tonga will play each other, but will also host Georgia, with the Lelos undertaking a first-ever tour through the Pacific Islands. Italy will brave an Americas tour, while Russia will stick to the Northern continent
