Peru win Fair Play Award

The Federación Peruana de Rugby (Peruvian Rugby Federation) have been recognized for excellence, winning a Fair Play award.

The prize titled FAIR PLAY is awarded to an entity who conforms with the rules and spirit of the sport, respects ones adversary, respects the decision of match officials, avoids aggression and bad faith, not attempting to lie or cheat to ones advantage and being gracious in victory.

Peruvian rugby won the award on March 22 as part of a special event hosted by Panathlon and the Peruvian Olympic Committee.

Panathlon is an organization which promotes the Olympic values and ideals, fair play, respect for ones adversaries, officials and the public and searches each year for examples aligned with its own declarations.
