Los Jaguares vs Stormers Lineups

The Los Jaguares vs Stormers Lineups have been made. Both coaches have opted for changes as the demands of the season require care to be taken to ensure nobody is overplayed.

Raúl Pérez has gone for six changes for the match with the traditional strength of Los Pumas to be put to the test. The scrum will have an inexperienced player either side of captain Agustín Creevy. Retained at loosehead prop is Santiago García Botta who started against the Stormers while at tighthead Felipe Arregui will earn his first Super Rugby start after both Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro and Ramiro Herrera were ruled out.

Aged just 21, Arregui was blooded by the Argentina XV in the recent Americas Rugby Championship. The Rosario prop passed the test well but he is to now face his sternest test to date as he plays opposite JC Janse van Rensburg.

In the second-row Matías Alemanno comes in for Guido Petti, who drops to the bench while one Santiago del Estero back-rower makes way for another as Tomás Lezana will start ahead of Juan Manuel Leguizamón in the only change to the back-row.

Outwide Lucas González Amorosino and Matías Orlando have been named ahead of Emiliano Boffelli and Santiago Cordero as the respective starting wingers as the two remaining changes from the side which faced the Chiefs last Saturday.

Stormers Head Coach Robbie Fleck has made three changes to his starting lineup for the match. Earning his first start at hooker will be Scarra Ntubeni while JD Schickerling is to play second-row in place of Springbok Pieter-Steph du Toit while veteran Schalk Burger makes way for Sikhumbuzo Notshe.

The round five match will be played at Vélez Sarsfield Stadium in Buenos Aires on Saturday. Kick-off is scheduled for 6:40pm local time.
