No Tickets Left for Los Jaguares vs Chiefs

There are no tickets left for Los Jaguares vs Chiefs, the historic first home Super Rugby match for the Argentine franchise. Sold Out, proclaimed jaguares.com.ar this afternoon, confirming the success of the team in capturing public interest.

The fixture is to be played at Velez Sarsfield, a famous Buenos Aires soccer club. The stadium’s total capacity is 50,000 but for Super Rugby the capacity had been set for 14,000.

Following popular demand the UAR put an additional 4,000 tickets on sale which have all been sold, thereby bringing the attendance figure for this weekend’s fixture up to 18,000.

Tickets for the second home fixture remain on sale. Los Jaguares will face South African franchise the Stormers at the same venue on Saturday March 26.

The Stormers are to play at home this weekend to Australia side the Brumbies. Puma Tomás Cubelli will be involved for the visiting Australians.
