Hernández will start for Los Jaguares vs Chiefs

Having missed the opening two Super Rugby matches Juan Martín Hernández will start for Los Jaguares vs Chiefs, writes Sergio Stuart for Ole. The veteran utility back is to be a welcome return for the Argentine Super Rugby franchise who are to be without three starting forwards to injury.

Hernández has been training at inside center this week and is to be named to play in the position, reforming his World Cup partnership with Nicolás Sánchez who will play fly half. Outside Hernández will be Matías Moroni who started in the mid-field together with El Mago against Ireland in the World Cup.

Los Jaguares are to be up against New Zealand franchise, the Chiefs. The Hamilton-based team won the Super Rugby competition in the 2012 and 2013 seasons and is home to a number of All Blacks including Dominic Bird, Sam Cane, Aaron Cruden, Stephen Donald, Hikawera Elliot, Nathan Harris, Tawera Kerr-Barlow, Pauliasi Manu, and Brodie Retallick. Retallick will miss the match through injury.
