Hoadley appointed San Diego Assistant Coach

With just over a month to go until the inaugural PRO Rugby season gets underway announcements keep coming through from the tournament organizers. The latest confirmation is that Rob Hoadley has been appointed San Diego Assistant Coach for the 2016 season.

Hoadley was born in London and had an extensive playing career at center with both London Irish and Wasps, where he later became defense coach under Shaun Edwards. Most recently Hoadley has been coaching at Stanford University and is the current backs coach of the senior USA Eagles.

Hoadley will provide assistance to Head Coach Ray Egan. Details of who will be playing under them remain unknown though Canadian flier Phil Mackenzie is one player confirmed to be playing for the southern most of the three Californian teams this year.
