Montevideo clubs Old Christians and Old Boys are to represent Uruguay in Argentina this year. They will do so in the second division of the Campeonato Argentino Interior with Old Christians competing in Pool B and Old Boys in Pool 3.
The eighteen team competition will feature teams from throughout Argentina’s hinterland. The two Montevideo clubs will be exposed to a higher level of rugby than what is the norm in their country.
The clubs all earned the right to compete through a qualifying series. Regionally defined, the format ensures fair opportunities for al competitors. The competition kicks-off this weekend.
