Americas Players in Pro D2 – Week 22

The Americas will have at least 16 players in action over the weekend in the French Pro D2. With Mont-de-Marsan due to play on Sunday, both Agustín Ormaechea and Carlos Muzzio could feature and increase that total. Already done and dusted is Thursday’s game at Narbonne, where Takudzwa Ngwenya scored for victorious Biarritz.

Friday’s games will feature the rest, including a handful in one spot as Chilean second row Pablo Huete is joined by former Pumas fullback Martín Bustos Moyano and reserve forward Benjamín Macome in Bayonne’s lineup against Provence. Lucas Caneda starts on the left wing and prop Leandro Assi is among the reserves.

Four more are in business in Tarbes, with Agustín Costa Repetto lined up at hooker and starting halfbacks Nicolás Vergallo and Sebastián Poet ready to play key roles for the home team. American second row Christian Ostberg is listed among the reserves for Aurillac.

Both Demian Panizzo and Ariel Castellna are on bench duty for Colomiers who host Béziers, and countryman Gerónimo Albertario is in the same boat for Dax against Lyon. Fellow Argentina Damian Arias will be a sub at Montauban, where is club host Uruguayan flyhalf Felipe Berchesi and Carcassonne.
