Delguy and Moyano Called up to Los Pumas 7’s

Two late changes to the Argentine Rugby Sevens roster have see Bautista Delguy and Ramiro Moyano called up to Los Pumas 7’s for this weekend’s international competition in Vancouver, Canada.

The alterations follow that of Ramiro Finco who had already replaced Santiago Alvarez Fourcade. The UAR has now confirmed that Argentina XV players Bautista Delguy and Ramiro Moyano are to play in Vancouver in place of the injured Franco Sábato and Joaquín Riera.

Both Finco and Moyano (pictured) have prior experience playing on the World Sevens circuit but for Delguy it is to be a first time appearance. Of the three Moyano is a contracted UAR player for Super Rugby but is yet to receive game time in the competition.

Los Pumas 7’s will play against Brazil, Scotland and South Africa in Pool C in Vancouver. With three of the four playing in the Olympic Games it is a pool to be observed with interest. Argentina is coming off a Plate Semi Final loss in Las Vegas against New Zealand.
