Brazil makes changes for Argentina XV

Despite their history-making victory over the US Eagles on Saturday, Brazil have made four changes to their starting lineup to face the Argentina XV at São José dos Campos. Another two come on the bench as Os Tupis look to find the inspiration to close their Americas Rugby Championship on a high.

Rafael Carnivalle makes his tournament bow at loosehead in place of Lucas Abud, and Cléber Dias returns to the side in place of captain João Luiz da Ros on the flank. Nick Smith will take over the leadership as he continues at no8. Injury to Stefano Giantorno opens the door for Lucas Tranquez on the right wing, and there is a debut for 19-year-old Matheus Cruz, who replaces Martin Schaefer at inside centre.

The reserves show pair of changes. Mark Jackson steps in to replace Gabriel Paganini as a flanker option, and centre Mateus Estrela takes the place of Guilherme Coghetto. Abud will cover loosehead prop with Jonatas Paulo dropping out of the match day squad.

Kickoff will take place at 8pm local time and the match will be streamed live on ESPN3.
