Noguera Paz out for Two Months

Disaster has struck Los Jaguares preparation for their round two Super Rugby fixture against the Sharks in Durban. Leading Loosehead prop Lucas Noguera Paz has been ruled out for two months, after having suffered ligament damage to his knee in training today.

Confirmation has been made by Ignacio Barrón. Writing for ESPN Deportes Barrón notes that near the ned of a full contract training session, Lucas Noguera Paz was on hand to fetch the ball and struck his knee while looking to attempt a clean out.

In the afternoon team Medic Franco Dellavedova examined the injury. By using magnetic resonance he revealed that Noguera Paz has a ruptured patellar ligament which will require at least two months of recovery time.

Santiago García Botta filled in for Noguera Paz at training and is now set to replace him as the starting loosehead prop. In addition the uncapped Felipe Arregui is set to make his Super Rugby debut as the back-up left front-rower.
