Americas Players in Premiership – Week 14

In the midst of European attention being focused on international rugby the Aviva Premiership rolls on. This weekend will see Week 14 of England’s domestic competition and a host of players from the Americas Players will be in action.

There are to be no Friday matches in week 14, thereby making Saturday’s Sale Sharks vs Saracens fixture the opening match of the round. The visitors from London have named a star-studded lineup which includes Argentine and U.S. test players. Starting will be Marcelo Bosch, Hayden Smith, Titi Lamositele and Chris Wyles while Juan Figallo will cover prop from the bench.

Also on Saturday two resurgent clubs will meet as Gloucester host the Newcastle Falcons. Gloucester have made seven changes for the fixture but Puma Mariano Galarza is one to retain his place in the starting lineup. On the bench for the Falcons will be Juan Pablo Socino and Todd Clever who is back from the Americas Rugby Championship.

The second placed Exeter Chiefs are to play host to the underperforming Bath in a West Country match-up. Bath has looked like a shadow of the team that made last season’s Aviva Premiership Final and will need to dig deep to win away at Sandy Park. Starting on the left wing for Bath will be former Puma Horacio Agulla.

Starting at home for the Leicester Tigers on Sunday will be the long time serving Marcos Ayerza. He will run on in the position of loosehead prop. Starting for the visiting London Irish will be Canadian Ciaran Hearn who returns to his favored position of outside center.
