World Cup stars to face Canada

Pablo Bouza has added World Cup stars Lucas González Amorosino and Juan Manuel Leguizamón to his Argentina XV squad to take on Canada on Sunday round four of the Americas Rugby Championship at Duendes RC in Rosario. The duo have been released by the UAR for the home fixture to get game time before returning to play for the Jaguares in Super Rugby.

In other changes Marcos Kremer, Lautaro Bazán, and 18-year-old newcomer Bautista Delguy join the group after playing with the u20 side against Georgia during the week. Juan Pablo Estellés has been recalled to bolster the back division, and midfielder Tomás Granella, a graduate of last year’s u20 team, joins the ARC squad for the first time.

Bautista Ezcurra, Santiago Álvarez, Axel Müller, Rodrigo Etchart, and Segundo Tuculet have left the team to return to the HSBC Sevens Series duties. Also departing the group are loose forwards Gonzalo Paulín and Miguel Urtubey, and scrumhalf Mauro Perotti.

The match kicks off at 17:10 local time, 15:10 EST and will be broadcast live on ESPN3 for South American and USA-based viewers, and TSN Go for Canadians.
