Brumbies Head Coach Stephen Larkham has named a side with eleven Wallabies and Puma Tomás Cubelli in the run-on team. The side will be facing the 2015 Super Rugby beat finalists, the Hurricanes.
With 45 caps for Argentina Cubelli will make his Super Rugby debut after joining the Canberra based franchise after from Los Jaguares. The move has opened up opportunities for players in Argentina which has seen Gonzalo Bertranou on the bench for the Argentine side this weekend behind Martín Landajo.
In the last meeting between the Brumbies and Hurricanes the New Zealand team completed a comprehensive, 29-9 win. Overall they have meet on 21 occasions with the Brumbies having the superior record with 12 wins compared to the Hurricanes’ 9.
