Los Pumas 7s Roster for Las Vegas and Vancouver

A 12-man Los Pumas 7s Roster has been named for Las Vegas and Vancouver. Argentina will compete at both upcoming legs of the HSBC World Sevens Circuit and do so with a number of players to have been involved in the Americas Rugby Championship in recent weeks.

The like of Bautista Ezcurra, Rodrigo Etchart, Fernando Luna, Axel Müller and Segundo Tuculet are chasing down places in the Olympic Games. Their own performances, together with all others, are vital if they are to make selection for Rio 2016.

The UAR will be freeing-up contracted for selection, thereby enabling the likes of Lucas González Amorosino, Santiago Cordero, Jerónimo de La Fuente, Javier Ortega Desio and Matías Moroni to be considered.

In North America next month Los Pumas Sevens will compete in both the USA and Canada. The U.S. leg will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada on March 4-6 and in Vancouver, BC on March 12-13. For Las Vegas, Los Pumas Sevens will face Fiji, France and Samoa in Group C.

Head Coach Santiago Gómez Cora has selected the following players for the tournaments. They will gather in Buenos Aires on February 25 to begin preparations and fly out to the USA on Friday.
