The URU is preparing a groundbreaking week of activities to take place in the country this month. Termed Super Week Uruguay 2016 the six day festival seeks to continue growing rugby in the country.
Super week will consist of lectures and workshops involving specialists from Uruguay, Argentina and Sudamérica Rugby and will culminate on Saturday February 20 with Uruguay facing Argentina in Punta del Este in a third round America Rugby Championship fixture.
The lectures will take place from Monday to Thursday at the Estadio Charrúa in Montevideo and at the Campus de Maldonado on Friday.
Los Pumas Head Coach Daniel Hourcade will talk about attacking skills, defensive organization, the set-piece and the breakdown. Also present will be assistant, Germán Fernández as well as Los Teros Head Coach Esteban Meneses and the director of the international program Pablo Lemoine.
On Tuesday there is also to be a lecture about youth rugby l martes también habrá una charla de rugby infantil by Mario Barandiarán. Former Pumas Head Coach Marcelo Loffreda will also speak.
