Hearn scores great try for Irish

Ciaran Hearn’s first season in professional rugby continues to be fruitful, with the Canadian centre scoring an impressive individual try for London Irish on Sunday. The seven-pointer was a vital score as the Exiles went on to defeat relegation rivals Worcester by 20-13, lifting Irish from the foot of the table and to within one league point of the Warriors.

Hearn’s vast sevens experience no doubt helped inspired the score, as he picked up a loose ball in open play, chipped over the defensive line, and regathered with no cover in sight to dot down under the posts. The big Newfoundlander is currently out of contract at the end of the season, but he must surely be on the club’s priority list to be re-signed with fans unanimously impressed with his performances.

The try can be seen starting at 3:56 of the below video.
