Americas players in Premiership Round 11

It’s a slightly quieter week for Americas player in England’s Aviva Premiership, but nine is still a reasonable number to keep track of. Argentina, Canada, and the USA are all represented as the league bring the first half of the season to a close.

World Cup Pumas Horacio Agulla and Mariano Galarza met each other on opposite sides of the pitch on Friday as Galarza’s Gloucester defeated Agulla’s Bath. One more member of the team Juan Pablo Socino starts for Newcastle Falcons on Saturday as they travel to Coventry to play Wasps, while test discard Gonzalo Camacho takes a spot on the Leicester Tigers bench at Welford Road against visiting Sale Sharks.

A trio of Americans are in the Saracens lineup to play Exeter at Sandy Park. Hayden Smith gets his first start of the season in the second row, with former Eagles skipper Chris Wyles once again picked on the left wing. Titi Lamositele will not play in the Americas Rugby Championship as he instead continues his role as an impact sub a week after putting in an eye-catching performance against Bath last weekend.

Lastly the Canadian contingent of London Irish are both in the run-on side. Jebb Sinclair gets a start in his favoured blindside flank position, while Ciaran Hearn is ready to go at outside centre.
