Ayerza ends three year try scoring drought

Marcos Ayerza ended a more than three year try scoring drought this past weekend when he crossed in an Aviva Premiership fixture. Starting at loosehead prop Ayerza scored a first half try for the Leicester Tigers against Gloucester at Kingsholm.

The try was one of three of the afternoon for the Leicester Tigers who won the game 19-18. For Ayerza it was his first try for Leicester in four years and three months. Capped 66 times by Argentina, Ayerza’s one test try came against Japan in a home international in 2005.
