Ticket’s for Chile’s home matches in the Americas Rugby Championship against Brazil and Uruguay are on sale. Los Cóndores will play host to the South American rivals in rounds one and four and will also play host to Canada in round five.
On February 06 Chile is to take-on Brazil at Parque Mahuida de La Reina in the nation’s capital of Santiago. The venue will also play host to Chile vs Uruguay on February 27. These two fixtures are to be the most important for Los Cóndores in the competition due to them being the only ones against teams not involved in Rugby World Cup 2015.
The Americas Rugby Championship will bring together six countries from the Americas in what is to be the first edition of a new annual competition. Chile enteres as the number five seed ahead of Brazil. The top four are Argentina, USA, Canada and Uruguay in that order. Argentina finished fourth in the world in last year’s World Cup while Canada pushed Italy and the USA gave Scotland a first half scare.
The overall winner of the Six Nations tournament will be crowned Americas Champion. In order to attend the matches in Chile supporters are advised to arrive well in advance to avoid disappointment. Tickets for those under 12 are free for those wearing the shirt of their Chilean rugby club.
