SANZAR is now SANZAAR

Argentina’s transition is now complete as SANZAR is now SANZAAR. The governing body of the Rugby Championship and Super Rugby competitions has officially added Argentina to it’s name with South Africa, New Zealand, Australia and Argentina now all a part of the acronym, SANZAAR.

The confirmation means Argentina is an official member of the organization founded by the federations of the three founding members of the professional rugby competitions in the Southern Hemisphere.

The change has brought with it a need to alter the emblem. As displayed below the new shield features the UAR’s logo and the acronym has an additional ‘A’.
