Upcoming international competition for teams from Uruguay and Argentina have seen a collaborated effort this week. Los Teros have been in Training with Los Jaguares in a mutually beneficial arrangement before the upcoming Americas Rugby Championship and Super Rugby competitions.
Los Teros are to begin the Americas Rugby Championship in three weeks time, taking on Canada in Langford, British Columbia. Also playing in North America will be the Argentina XV with a match against the XV in Houston, Texas.
A host of players to have been in training this month in Buenos Aires are to play for the Argentine side while the core roster is to continue preparation for Super Rugby. Former Puma Pablo Bouza is set to reveal who will travel to Texas next week.
Los Jaguares’ Super Rugby debut is to come on February 26 in Bloemfontein against the Cheetahs. The team is to fly to South Africa two weeks in advance to play warm-up matches against the Lions and Stormers.
