Jaguares Membership Proving to be in Hot Demand

Jaguares membership is proving to be in hot demand as the premier category, or ‘founder’, has sold out. The asking price of AR$5,500 or roughly US$400 has proven to be more than reasonable as no tickets remain, as confirmed on Los Jaguares’ official website.

Among other benefits included in the package were tickets to all of Los Jaguares’ home matches, an official Pumas Nike shirt, Captain’s Run admission, priority for finals tickets and tickets to a home Rugby Championship match. The venue for the match in question has not yet been confirmed though it is expected that Buenos Aires or neighboring La Plata will host the match against New Zealand on October 01 of this year.

The Rugby Championship, though is a distant though for fans and players as Super Rugby is truly taking priority. Having been opposed to professionalism in the later half of the 1990s Argentina subsequently suffered, having been left isolated until 2011 when the team was added to the Tri Nations.

Now in 2016 the move to professionalism is complete with a 45-man roster set to feature in Super Rugby. The players began training on Monday of this week with 30 fully professional players being joined by five hopefuls. An additional 10 are to join them to complete the final squad.

Of those in training just over half will be involved in the Super Rugby debut against the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein in 50 days time. For those wanting to acquire access to all home matches there is still time with the Silver and Bronze options still on sale.

After playing two matches in South Africa Los Jaguares will play at home for the first time on Saturday March 03 against the Chiefs. With public expectation proving to be alive and well supporters are encouraged to not leave it until it is too late – buy season tickets while you can or risk missing out.
