Hearn scores first professional try

Canadian international Ciaran Hearn notched his first points as a professional with an early try in London Irish’s defeat at Gloucester. The big centre used his strength to break through one tackle and speed to skip past another for a memorable moment in his new career. Despite the loss, the Exiles look a better side with Hearn in the lineup and achieved their first Premiership victory of the season a week ago against Northampton. They looked odds-on for another after the first forty at Kingsholm, but ran out of steam in the second half after an Alex Lewington yellow card stretched their resources in tough conditions.
