Americas players in Championship Week 12

There won’t be much rest for Greene King IPA Championship players, as the season continues on Saturday and Sunday. A half-dozen Canucks and two Argies are on duty this weekend.

The all-Canadian engine room at Doncaster has been broken up, with Jon Phelan the fortunate one to wear the no5 shirt against Nottingham at Castle Park on Saturday. Tyler Hotson will have to wait his turn from the bench.

Aaron Flagg is once again holding it down on the side of the scrum for Moseley against Bedford at Billesley Common. Neither James Pritchard nor the Blanchet brothers have been named by the Blues.

The remaining five will all be in action at Mennaye Field as Cornish Pirates host Jersey on Sunday. The visitors have both their Pumas players in the lineup. Martín García Veiga starts a hooker, while Ignacio Sáenz Lancuba is on the bench. Meanwhile the Pirates have restored Canadian international Aaron Carpenter to the captaincy as he rolls out on the blindside flank, with Brett Beukeboom beside in the second row. Matt Evans is also back in the run-on side, lining up on the left wing instead of fullback.
