The new Head Coach of Los Teros rugby sevens team, Diego Rodríguez has named a 16-man roster to train for upcoming international duty.
With rugby xv duty having come to a close for the year focus has turned to rugby sevens. In the case of Los Teros 7s the players are training at the Centro Charrúa in Montevideo with an eye on what is just around the corner.
Los Teros 7s will compete in the Punta del Este 7s on December 26-27, a warm-up event for the 2016 event in the Chilean city of Viña del Mar next month. Those competing in Chile will be doing so with a spot on the line for the 2016 Hong Kong Sevens. In between hand Los Teros 7s will play in Mar del Plata, Argentina on January 9-10.
Players from seven different Uruguayan clubs have been selected by Rodríguez. The Argentine coach will narrow down the list for the international competitions.
