Ezcurra makes Cape Town Dream Team

Argentina drop-goal hero Bautista Ezcurra has been named in the official HSBC Dream Team for the Cape Town Sevens tournament. The midfielder’s exceptional play was capped off with a penalty kick in extra time to beat New Zealand in the Cup quarters. Captain of this year’s u20 Pumitas XVs team and younger brother of Pumas scrumhalf Felipe, Ezcurra looks to have a bright future ahead in either code.

Joining him in the team are two South Africans, outstanding playmaker Justin Geduld and durable forward Philip Snyman. A pair of Kenyans are also included in the form of skipper Collins Injera and powerhouse prop Willy Ambaka. Rounding out the forwards is Fijian restart specialist Apisai Domolailai, with another Fijian – albeit wearing French colours – Virimi Vakatawa chosen for his try-scoring exploits.
