The Chilean men’s Rugby Sevens team will compete in the upcoming Seven de Punta del Este, Uruguay’s biggest Sevens event of the year. This year’s tournament is to be played from December 26-27 at the Punta del Este Polo & Country Club in the balneario uruguayo.
The Chileans competed well in last year’s edition, finishing runners-up in the Cup, falling to Argentine invitational composite side Moby Dick.
For 2015 the coaching staff have named a 12-man roster, calling upon players from Santiago and Viña del Mar clubs. The players will travel to Montevideo on December 25, driving from there to Punta del Este on the same day.
