Guatemala Power Past Panama in South American C Championship

The Central American Republic of Guatemala made it two wins from as many matches by defeating Panama 73-12 in San Salvador on Wednesday evening. The win confirms that Los Jaguares will play in the South American C Championship final this coming Saturday.

Guatemala led Panama from early on, holding a 30-5 half time advantage which transpired into a big win. Following on from defeating Costa Rica on Sunday, in what was a shock result, Guatemala is on course for a history-making and unlikely title.
