Baker makes Dubai Dream Team

Perry Baker’s try-scoring feats in Dubai have been rewarded with selection to the official HSBC Dream Team. The Eagles winger stunned a worldwide audience with a searing outside break to score a classic try in stoppage time against the All Blacks on Day 1.

Champions Fiji had three selections, with mesmeric halfback Jerry Tuwai leading the way. Creative midfielder Vatemo Ravouvou also made the cut, so too the tournament’s outstanding forward Pio Tuwai, whose hot-stepping defied his massive 6’4″ frame.

Finalists England contribute two players, American heart-breaker Phil Burgess and captain Tom Mitchell. New Zealand forward Sam Dickson rounds out the side.
