Full Fixtures List for Americas Rugby Cup

With news starting to trickle in from various sources, Americas Rugby News can confirm the full schedule for the inaugural Americas Rugby Cup. The new tournament, involving six Americas nations, will run on consecutive Saturdays from February 6 to February 27, with the final round falling on Sunday, March 6.

USA are the only country will a fully confirmed venue list. Their first two home matches will be played in Texas – first at BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston, then at Dell Diamond in Austin – with the third at Lockhart Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Canada’s home matches will be played at Westhills Stadium in Langford, the home of their high performance centre and the location of the Americas Rugby Championship in recent years.

Uruguay will continue to play out of Estadio Charrúa in Montevideo.

Brazil will host Uruguay in Rio Grande do Sul, with a venue still to be confirmed, while their home matches against USA and Argentina will be at the Estádio do Pacaembu in São Paulo.

Argentina and Chile have yet to confirm venues. Chile’s recent home matches have been at the Parque Mahuida or Estadio San Carlos de Apoquindo in Santiago, and the Estadio Germán Becker in Temuco. Argentina have a number of options to choose from.
