Las Tucanes Travel to Dubai

The national women’s team of Colombia, Las Tucanes have departed their country to compete in Dubai where they will, for the first time, take part in the World Rugby Sevens Circuit. The Colombians will play on Friday and Saturday at the Sevens Stadium in Dubai facing Great Britain, Japan and Kenya.

For Las Tucanes the tournament is important preparation ahead of the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. The twelve women travelling to Dubai are seeking to grow as a team while also book their tickets to Rio.
