Old Boys Win URU Sevens

The latest edition of the Seven de la Unión de Rugby del Uruguay (URU Sevens) was played this past weekend with 12 of the country’s clubs competing for the title.

Played at the national rugby stadium, the Estadio Charrúa in Montevideo on Saturday Old Boys overcame Old Christians to claim the title while MVCC finished third by winning the Plate Final. Old Boys and Old Christians are the same two clubs to have disputed the 2015 Uruguayan National Final.

Old Boys, Old Christians, Carrasco Polo, Trebol de Payasandú, PSG, MVCC, Los Cuervos, Los Ceibos, Los Lobos, Seminario, Circulo de Tenis de Montevideo and Los Cardos.
