With the roster confirmed the Uruguay XV travels to the Argentine city of Bahía Blanca to face the Unión de Rugby del Sur in a fourth round match in the second division of the Argentine Provincial Championship, the Torneio Argentino de Uniones also known as the Campeonato Argentino.
Coached by Guzmán Barreiro the Uruguay XV is top of the table in Zone B of the Promotional Division with three wins from as many matches. A win over the Unión de Rugby del Sur would practically confirm that the Uruguay XV will win promotion.
The team is coming off a 30-17 away win in Junin against UROBA but a win over the Unión de Rugby del Sur is far from assured with this weekend’s rivals also having defeated UROBA.
