Taylor Paris Shortlisted for Pro D2 Player of the Season

Canadian winger Taylor Paris has been short-listed as one of three finalists for the Player of the Season award in France’s Pro D2. The winner will be announced at the Nuit du Rugby on November 23 which will recognize 0utstanding achievement for players, coaches, clubs and officials.

Playing for Agen Paris had a highly impressive season and had plenty to do with seeing Agen overcome Perpignan to win promotion to the Top 14. His form had Canadian supporters buzzing ahead of the World Cup as the prospect of Paris and Jeff Hassler on the wings gave Canada considerable attacking power out wide.

Sadly for Paris it was not to be as he was injured during the World Cup warm-ups and played no part in the tournament. He was also a member of Canada’s campaign in 2011 in New Zealand but similarly, did not play a match.

Paris is joined by Pau’s James Coughlan and Mont de Marsan’s Masalosalo as the three finalists.
