Match officials for round two of the 2015 Argentine National Provincial Championship have been named. Argentina’s leading referee Federico Anselmi will be involved as will Federico Cuesta and Mauro Rivera in the Championship Zone fixtures.
This weekend’s matches will all be played on Saturday with special focus being on Córdoba vs Rosario which will be broadcast live on ESPN 3 from 4:30pm. Both Córdoba and Rosario suffered opening round losses making their round two clash crucial to the fortunes of both.
Leaders Buenos Aires will play away to Cuyo while Salta will host, last year’s champions, Tucumán in a local derby between the northern provinces.
The competition is vital component of Argentine rugby. Many players coming through the academies are exposed to a higher level of rugby that can assess them greater to move onto developmental teams, Rugby Sevens and international duty.
