Las Tucanes Preparing for Rio 2016 in Uruguay

The Colombian women’s Rugby Sevens team, Las Tucanes are in Uruguay preparing for the upcoming Valentín Martínez. They arrived on Wednesday with an eye to gaining vital preparation as the road to the 2016 Olympic Games draws nearer.

Las Tucanes will play on Saturday and Sunday and remain in Uruguay until Tuesday. Also competing in the important women’s event will be teams from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay.

Colombia will take on Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina on Saturday in Pool B while the Semi Finals and Final will take place on Sunday. The following twelve athletes will represent their country:
