Brazil add Home test vs Colombia

The governing body of Brazilian rugby the Confederação Brasileira de Rugby (CBRu) are set to announce an additional test match to bring the year 2015 to a close. Following the two upcoming home matches against Germany Brazil will play host to Colombia at the Estádio do Canindé in São Paulo on Dezember 12.

The Estádio do Canindé is home to one of Brazil’s traditional soccer powers, Portuguesa. With a capacity for 21,000 spectators the vene is much smaller than that of the estádio do Pacaembu, also in São Paulo, which is to host the second test against Germany.

The test will see the botom placed South American A country hosting the favorites to win the upcoming South American B Championship. Colombia will compete against Ecuador, Venezuela and, hosts, Peru this month with the winner earning the right to face Brazil in repechage in 2016.
