Argentine Wing Joins French Club

French second division side Aix en Provence have confirmed the arrival of Argentine Lucas Martín Caneda. Capable of playing both center and wing the 25 year old joins from Buenos Aires club Pueyrredón.

Back in the Pro d2 after winning promotion from the Fédérale 1 Aix en Provence are in search of staying away from the third division. Caneda is the second Argentine player to join recently following the signing of former Puma Tomás Vallejos Cinalli.

More than capable of finding his way to the try line Caneda scored the best try of round five of the 2014 URBA Top 14, Buenos Aires’ first division competition. In addition Caneda finished as the top try scorer this season. His seven tries were equal to Hindu’s Sebastián Cancelliere.

Playing for Buenos Aires this past weekend in the Argentine Provincial Championship Caneda scored two tries in the 46-13 win over Córdoba.
