Barbarians Roster named for Argentina

The Barbarians have named a 24-man roster for this month’s two matches. The famous club-side will play matches against Gloucester on November 17 and against Argentina on November 21.

World Cup Semi Finalists Australia, New Zealand and South Africa make up the selected players with there also being room for former international players in addition to players not selected for World Cup duty. Fijian winger Nemani Nadolo has also been picked.

Australia’s captain Stephen Moore, back-rower Scott Fardy and center Tevita Kuridrani are the big name Wallabies included while World Cup winners Charlie Faumuina, Tawera Kerr-Barlow and Nehe Milner-Skudder lead New Zealand’s involvement.

Rugby World Cup 2007 champion Bakkie Botha is to be joined by Lood de Jager, Pat Lambie,Tendai Mtawarira and his long-time serving second-row colleague Victor Matfield as the notable South African players included.

Completing the team are a number of highly promosing players including James Hanson, Cobus Reinach, Lima Sopoaga and Ardie Savea.
