The governing body of Chilean rugby, Feruchi has announced Los Condores’ five fixtures for the 2016 Americas Rugby Cup. The soon to be launched competition will be the Americas version of the Six Nations with Rugby World Cup 2015 competitors Argentina, Canada, Uruguay and the USA being joined by Brazil and Chile.
All six of the countries will play matches against one another with some playing two at home and others three. In the case of Chile Feruchi has confirmed that they will benefit from playing three times at home and two away. Chile will begin against the bottom seed, Brazil on February 06 and also host Uruguay (February 27) and Canada (March 06).
Away from home Los Condores will face heavyweights Argentina and the USA with the match against Argentina to be on February 13 and against the Eagles one week later on February 20.
Host cities and venues themselves remain unconfirmed at this stage with the exception being Brazil with São Paulo confirmed as hosting matches against Argentina and the USA.
