Argentine Manuel Carizza has been named in the second-row for Racing 92. The Parisian suburban club will face Oyonnax away on Friday evening in a fifth round match of the Top 14.
Carizza was left out of Argentina’s Rugby World Cup player roster by Daniel Hourcade who had fielded him against both New Zealand and Australia in the Rugby Championship. One of those selected ahead of him, Mariano Galarza, was only able to play once in the World Cup after being suspended for foul play.
After four rounds of the Top 14 Racing 92 are well placed in fourth position. An away win would see Oyonnax sink further down from the current position of 11th.
