Fiji and Uruguay have named their teams for their Pool A match in Milton Keynes on Tuesday. Both sides are still in search of their first win of the tournament.
Fijian tighthead Manasa Saulo has been suspended for 10 weeks for stamping against Wales, so Lee-Roy Atalifo will start in his place, one of five changes to the team that ran the Welsh close in Cardiff. Api Ratuniyarawa rotates with Tevita Cavubati in the second row, and Masi Matadigo does the same with Netani Talei at no8.
Nemani Nadolo returns to reclaim his place on the left wing, with Asaeli Tikoirotuma moving over the right and Timoci Nagusa dropping to the bench. Kini Murimurivalu takes the place of Metuisela Talebula at fullback.
Pablo Lemoine has made six changes to the team that lined up against Australia. Alejo Corral and Carlos Arboleya return to the front row, and Jorge Zerbino lines up at lock. Alejandro Nieto returns at no8, pushing Juan Manuel Gaminara to the flank.
Star flyhalf Felipe Berchesi is absent with a collarbone injury so Alejo Durán is nominated to cover at flyhalf, while Santiago Gibernau takes over from Leandro Leivas on the wing. Mathias Palomeque, Jerónimo Etcheverry, and Francisco Bulanti are new additions on the bench.
Fiji and Uruguay have only played one prior test, in August of 1999, with Fiji winning 39-24. Uruguay awarded caps for a 2003 fixture against a Fiji XV, but Fiji did not. Uruguay also hosted the Fiji Warriors, the Fijian second string side, earlier in the year, a match won 30-22 by Fiji.
