Phil Davies names Namibian lineup for Tonga

Namibian Head Coach Phil Davies has named his lineup for Tuesday’s Pool B match against Tonga in Exeter. The Welshman has made eight changes from the side that faced New Zealand in London on Thursday. Veteran captain Jacques Burger will lead the team in search of their first win in Rugby World Cup history.

In being named to face Tonga Burger will make his 10th World Cup appearance thereby closing the gap to match match between himself and Namibia’s most capped player in tournament history, Hugo Horn.

The fixture will bring to a close the second round of World Cup matches with Namibia and Tonga being the last teams to play their second matches. Tonga will have a short turn-around before facing Argentina in Leicester on Sunday while Namibia will take a break before facing Georgia on Wednesday October 07.
