USA 7s Team Back in Camp

With just a little over two months until the opening round of the HSBC World Series, the USA 7s team heads back to camp this week as the squad continues their buildup. With 7s veterans Zach Test, Andrew Durutalo, Folau Niua, and Danny Barrett out on World Cup duty, Head Coach Mike Friday has called in some more young talent to camp.

Coming off of their most successful season, to date, expectations are riding high in the USA camp for not only the upcoming World Series season, but also for the 2016 Rio Olympics.

The camp is a mix of World Series regulars that are on residency, players from the WCAP program, and some fresh new faces that were uncovered at the recent Elite City 7s tournament. Two such players are Tua Laei and Joey Sok whom are both making their debut at Eagles 7s camp.

The squad will be in camp from September 23-27th. The USA opens up their World Series season December 4-5 in Dubai.
