Oscár Durán to lead Uruguay vs Basque Country

Uruguayan Head Coach Pablo Lemoine has made fourteen changes to his starting team for Sunday’s away match against Basque Country Euskarians in Spain. The non-capped international is to be Uruguay’s final hit-out before the Rugby World Cup.

Los Teros will play in Pool A, the Pool of Death. The uncompromising group is to feature Australia and Fiji in addition to the competition’s two host nations England and Wales. Uruguay will begin on the third day of the competition by facing Wales in Cardiff on Sunday September 20.

To prepare his players and evaluate them all Lemoine’s team for this Sunday’s match in Spain will see center Joaquín Prada as the only remaining player from the side that lost against Japan in Tokyo last Saturday. Which so many changes tighthead prop Oscár Durán has been named captain.

The South Americans will be up against a combined XV based off of experienced players involved in the Spanish and French leagues. Spanish captain Pablo Feijoo will lead the home side.

No livestream will be available for the match. Kick-off is scheduled for 6pm local time or 1pm Uruguayan time.
